Flowe has no accounts and no tracking. The one thing the app sends us is a small anonymous daily count — here is all of it.
On your phone
On iPhone, your priorities are parsed with Apple's on-device models. On Android, they are parsed on the phone. Your calendar, notifications, and the apps you choose to block are read with your permission and stored only on your phone.
What leaves it
Your priorities and agenda travel to your e-ink device over an encrypted Bluetooth link — directly, with no server in between. If you add your own OpenAI key in settings as a backup parser, the words you speak at day start are sent to OpenAI; nothing else is, and there is no key by default.
The daily count
Once a day, the app tells our server: a random ID made up when you installed, whether it is the iPhone or Android app, the app version, and whether an X3 or X4 is paired. That is the whole message. No name, no email, no location, no book titles, no reading history. It exists so we know how many people use Flowe. You can turn it off in Settings → Share anonymous usage, and reinstalling the app makes a new random ID.
Beta builds
Through TestFlight, Apple also shares crash reports and basic install counts with us. Android builds come straight from us and send only the daily count above.
